The House investigative committee has released a collection of around 70 photos obtained from the property of late adjudicated individual convicted of sex crimes Jeffrey Epstein.

This constitutes the latest in a series of disclosure from a tranche of more than 95,000 images the panel has secured from Epstein's estate. It contains pictures of quotes from the novel Lolita inscribed across a woman's body, and obscured pictures of female overseas passports.

This release comes just hours before the December 19th due date for the Justice Department to make public each files associated with its inquiry into Epstein.

"These new photographs pose more queries about what exactly the Justice Department has in its custody," remarked the Democratic lead of the committee, Robert Garcia.

Contents in the Photographs Disclosed

Some of the images published on recently show Epstein speaking with scholar and advocate Noam Chomsky on a personal aircraft; Bill Gates seen alongside a individual whose features is censored; Steve Bannon sitting at a table across from Epstein, and previous Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a evening meal.

These are the latest high-net-worth, influential men to be pictured in Epstein estate photographs disclosed by the House Oversight Committee - earlier disclosed images also depict US President Donald Trump and former president Bill Clinton, as well as director Woody Allen, ex- US treasury secretary Larry Summers, attorney Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and other figures.

Being pictured in the photographs is not indication of any misconduct, and a number of the photographed men have asserted they were in no way involved in Epstein's criminal activity.

In a press release accompanying the photo disclosure, Democrats on the US House Oversight Committee said the Epstein property holders did not supply context or timeframes for the pictures.

"Images were chosen to provide the general populace with clarity into a illustrative selection of the images obtained from the property, and to offer insights into Epstein's network and his profoundly disturbing behavior," the release reads.

The publication also includes a number of images of passages from the Vladimir Nabokov novel Lolita written in ink across different parts of a female's body, such as her chest, feet, hip, and rear. Lolita narrates the account of a minor who was manipulated by a adult literature professor.

A particular excerpt from the novel scrawled across a woman's chest reads, "Lolita: the end of the tongue taking a trip of three steps down the mouth to tap, at three, on the teeth".

The release also contains a number of photographs of women's identification and official papers from nations globally, such as Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

Most of the information on the IDs, including names and birth dates, is censored but the panel stated in a announcement that the passports pertain to "females whom Jeffrey Epstein and his associates were interacting with".

Another photo features Epstein positioned at a workstation closely flanked by three individuals whose faces have been redacted - a first has her palm on Epstein's torso under his garment, and another individual is leaning to look at a adjacent laptop. Epstein appears to be helping the final person put on a bracelet.

A further photograph released is a capture of digital messages from an unknown person who claims they have been supplied "some girls" and are asking for "$$1,000 per female".

Image Disclosure Arrives Prior to DOJ Cut-off

The body has a vast number of photographs in its holdings from the Epstein estate, which are "simultaneously explicit and mundane," its press release on recently clarified.

The House Oversight Committee first issued a subpoena to the estate of Epstein, who died in a New York correctional facility in 2019 while pending legal proceedings on accusations of human trafficking, in August.

The images and documents the Epstein estate's representatives provided to the committee are distinct from what is commonly termed "the Epstein files". That material are documents under the Department of Justice's possession associated with its own investigation into Epstein.

Under the recently passed law, which the President made law recently, the DOJ has until 19 December to release its files. The full nature of what is found in the DOJ's records is not publicly known, and it's likely that a large amount of the information will be heavily censored, comparable to House Oversight Committee releases
