Trump's Family Member Gets Professional Advice from Golf Legend Woods Prior to Professional Golf Debut

Emerging athlete preparing for major competition

Kai Trump can count on numerous prominent backers when she makes her professional golf debut this Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be related to Donald Trump, received a sponsor's invitation to compete at the Annika competition in Florida.

Her grandfather, a passionate golfer, operates several international courses and often competes against Kai.

"He's pretty good. I shouldn't elaborate but we play some close matches," she mentioned.

Kai explained that Trump, who cannot attend, advised her: "Just don't get nervous."

"My grandpa basically advised me to go out there and enjoy myself," she added.

"In my eyes, he's simply a normal grandpa. He can't make it for the tournament. He's occupied with running the country, making him somewhat preoccupied."

As an amateur, the golfer has participated in only three events recently and holds position 461 in the American Junior Golf Association rankings.

But she's able to get advice from Tiger Woods, in a relationship with Vanessa.

"He stands as the best player worldwide," Kai stated.

"Furthermore, he's a more impressive human being. He suggested me to compete, relax, and go with whatever happens."

Kai will face multiple most prominent players in women's golf at the Annika, including world number two the champion, British Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.

Tournament organizers mentioned that her participation helps introduce golf to new audiences, especially with younger fans.

The young star boasts millions of followers and just introduced a personal clothing and lifestyle company.

The competition starts at 5:30 PM GMT.
