White House Condemns 'Democratic Fabrication' as Additional Epstein Estate Images Made Public
Democratic lawmakers have released a new tranche of what they labeled "alarming" pictures from the property of adjudicated sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, depicting notably Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and ex-UK prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
The opening batch of 19 images—a portion of which have been previously circulated—along with another 70 released later on Friday constitute a minuscule portion of the nearly 100,000 images released to the House investigative panel, which is examining the conduct and connections of Epstein.
The fallen money manager died by an apparent self-inflicted death in a New York detention cell in 2019 after being indicted on sex-trafficking crimes.
Prominent Personalities in the Photos
Among the high-profile individuals shown in the initial batch are public figures featuring movie maker Woody Allen; Microsoft founder Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, creator of the Virgin empire.
Donald Trump is featured in three of the initial 19 images. In one, he is seen with six women, whose faces are redacted.
White House Statement
The White House addressed the release in a statement, charging Democrats of selectively "choosing" the pictures for electoral motives and to "seek to establish a false narrative."
"The Democrat hoax against President Trump has been consistently disproven," a presidential representative said, asserting that "the Trump administration has accomplished more for Epstein's victims than Democrats ever have by consistently demanding disclosure, disclosing thousands of pages of records, and urging further investigations into Epstein's Democratic associates."
Congressional Democrat Comment
The images were released without context, but per a Democratic representative from California and ranking member of the oversight committee, they elicit additional doubts about Epstein's connections to affluent people.
"It is time to stop this White House concealment and secure justice to the victims of Jeffrey Epstein and his well-connected allies," he declared in a statement.
The publication of these documents coincides with the House panel continuing its probe into the affair.
